Changing the background (also known as wallpaper) on a phone with Android 6.0 Marshmallow is an easy process which consists of some simple steps. In the first step, the user has to go to the Settings app of the Android phone.
When the user opens the Settings App, a long menu will appear that consists of four sections namely Wireless & networks, Device, Personal and System. In the Device section, the very first tab is Display. The next step is to enter the Display tab, where he will see a menu consisting of nine sections which are Brightness level, Adaptive brightness, Wallpaper, Sleep, Press power button twice for, Daydream, Font size, When device is rotated and Cast.
Here the user has to go to the Wallpaper section which will take him to a new menu with three more options: Live Wallpapers, Photos and Wallpapers. On entering the Wallpaper section, the user will be able to see about ten backgrounds. When the user taps one of them, it appears on the screen so they can see what it looks like on the full screen. On the top-left of the screen, there will be the “Set wallpaper” option. The final step is to tap it, then selected background will replace the old background. This is how the background/wallpaper of a phone with Android 6.0 Marshmallow is changed.
